The walk is supported by the Wye Valley National Landscape team and takes in a beautiful stretch of the Wye Valley. We start at Tintern Old Station and initially head along the easterly Wye riverbank towards Bigsweir Bridge. From there, we re-trace our steps along the westerly bank to Llandogo where lunch will probably be taken in the churchyard. The next stage involves a steep climb up to Cleddon Falls, Monmouthshire’s best imitation of Niagara! The return paths along the western ridge of the valley include some beautiful views looking down into the valley before dropping steeply back into Brockweir.
